WHEN

WHAT
Commercial
Owned by Smithco Development, the Texas Gulf Bank Building, located by Houston's City Center development, houses a multitude of businesses. Dick Clarke and the talented team at Clarke & Son's Design Group have transformed the entry hallway into a space of timeless elegance and sophistication. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by the luxurious expanse of faux Carrera and Nero Marquina marble tiles, replacing the once-green granite floors. The area in front of the elevator bank receives a special touch with tiles laid in a striking geometric pattern, adding visual interest and depth to the space.
The walls have been modernized with a neutral greige paint, providing a clean and contemporary backdrop for the hall. Board and batten trim add a touch of architectural interest, enhancing the hallway's aesthetic appeal.
To further elevate the ambiance, a large Peter Lik artwork adorns the wall adjacent to the elevators, infusing the space with beauty and intrigue. Above, two magnificent Italian glass chandeliers illuminate the hallway with their dazzling brilliance, casting a warm and inviting glow throughout.
The result is a stunning fusion of modern design and timeless sophistication, creating an entryway that leaves a lasting impression on all who pass through it. Dick Clarke's meticulous attention to detail and exquisite taste have truly transformed the Gulf Bank building's entry hallway into a masterpiece of interior design.
